These words are sample text, written to let you explore the reading experience. They are not an excerpt from By Chance the Stars Speak. The first chapter will take their place when the public serial begins.
For now, settle into the page. There is room here for a long paragraph, a short thought, and the little silences between them. The story will have its own rhythm; the website should leave space for it.
You will be able to follow the book one chapter at a time, or return later and read at your own pace. Once released, each chapter will remain free to read here. No account will be needed.
Room for the story
The chapter list will always follow the order of the story. At the bottom of each page, the next chapter will be a single step away, with a path back to the contents whenever you need it.
A book can travel with you: a few pages in the quiet of the morning, another in a waiting room, a chapter before sleep. This reader is being made for those small, ordinary openings in the day.
When the story is ready, this space will belong to it. Until then, you are welcome to turn the page and look around.
